Regional Operational Programme for Lower Silesia

The regional rules foresee that co-financing of projects in priority 6.4. "Tourism and Culture" of the Regional Operational Programme be divided between two applications calls: one for all beneficiaries and the second only for those whose projects are connected with monuments on regional cultural routes in Lower Silesia. In sucha context, it is very significant the support of the Region in the process of assigning ERDF fund, favoring projects having networking features.


QuattroPole is a cross-border city network of Luxemburg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier. The initiative aims at strengthening the visibility of the QuattroPole space on the European map, to meet the challenges of the future, together, in a Europe that is growing together. QuattroPole sets up specific cross-border services dedicated to citizens and enterprises, in collaboration with external partners. Environment and energy, culture, languages and a common touristic concept are some of the topics developed by QuattroPole.


The European Commission aims to address the present lack of a widely accepted process and methodology for the sustainable management of destinations using a shared system of indicators and to move towards more comprehensive, inclusive and sustainable ways of working, by providing an indicator system for destinations to be used on a voluntary basis. The system will consist in a toolkit, with a set of indicators and a step-by step guide, useful for local tourism destination managers.
