ECR - A tour among Regional products of Excellence

CERTO project, co-funded by the European Commission, coordinated by I Cammini d'Europa E.E.I.G. and assisted by the European Institute for Cultural Routes in Luxembourg, was designed to create an offer of tourism products for three pilgrimage routes certified by the Council of Europe, the Via Francigena, the Saint James and the St. Olav Ways. The catalogue is one of the concrete and welcome results of this joint initiative.

European Rural Heritage - Observation Guide

Realised and adopted by the CEMAT Committee of Senior Officials, the “European Rural Heritage Observation Guide – CEMAT” implements the provisions of the Recommendation Rec (2002) 1 of the Committee of Ministers to Member States on the Guiding Principles for Sustainable Spatial Development of the European Continent. It therefore contributes towards achieving independent development of rural zones as areas for living and carrying on economic and recreationalactivities, and as physical regions and to set out guidelines for the managementof this heritage linked to regional and spatial planning.

South–western Cistercian Route in Lower Silesia

The project has contributed in increasing the attractiveness of Lower Silesia, and promotion of Cistercian cultural heritage in the country and abroad via activities such as: creation of tourist and road signing of post-Cistercian buildings in Lower Silesia, construction of car parking, toilets, tourist information centers, info-kiosks, carrying out quantitative and qualitative research of tourism movement and promotional campaign of the route using billboards, websites, folders etc.

QuattroPole

QuattroPole is a cross-border city network of Luxemburg, Metz, Saarbrücken and Trier. The initiative aims at strengthening the visibility of the QuattroPole space on the European map, to meet the challenges of the future, together, in a Europe that is growing together. QuattroPole sets up specific cross-border services dedicated to citizens and enterprises, in collaboration with external partners. Environment and energy, culture, languages and a common touristic concept are some of the topics developed by QuattroPole.

Plurio.net

Plurio.net is aggregating and disseminating cultural content of the Greater Region, i. e. information about events, venues and organisations. It covers all cultural fields, as well as content with educational and touristic interest. The cultural operators of the Greater Region can connect and upload their content to Plurio.net with the creation of a user profile. Cultural operators with large amounts of meaningful content can also connect via XML interfaces. In 2014, more than 3000 operators are member of the content network.

European Heritage Label

The European Heritage Label designates sites which have played a key role in the history of the European Union; it is not about a site's beauty or architectural quality but rather its symbolic value for European integration. It is not about conservation of sites in itself but rather the activities they offer and their educational dimension, especially for young generations.
