The Local seminar about Cyril and Methodius Cultural Route held in Czech Republic 26th June 2014 attracted more than 70 visitors!
The seminar for local stakeholders of Cyril and Methodius Cultural Route held in Stare Mesto, Czech Republic, attracted more than 70 visitors from several Czech and Slovak regions. Representatives from church, self-government bodies, cultural, educational and tourism field or entrepreneurs were made familiar with the theme of Cyril and Methodius Route and the plan to develop the route as a product of cultural tourism linking Velehrad, important pilgrimage site in Czech Republic with South-West (Rome in Italy) and South-East (Thessaloniki in Greece). Interesting presentations were made by Sorina Capp (CERTESS Project Coordinator), Giovanni Pattoneri and Michel Thomas-Penette, experts on cultural routes involved in CERTESS project. The participation in the seminar was part of their Mentoring Session program in Zlin Region. Other speakers were selected from organizational entities and also from catholic and orthodox churches. The Local seminar was organized by Zlin Region, East-Moravian Tourist Authority and European Cultural Route of Saints Cyril and Methodius Association as part of CERTESS project.
